30 software to effectively manage and manipulate the data. The researcher determined four major themes and then subsequent themes that emerged from the coding process, which the researcher coded as child nodes. Emerging themes and patterns were identified for the research question, which included institutional environment, academics, community, and safety of the learning environment. Research Question 3 (RQ3) What are the perceptions of principals regarding establishing and maintaining positive school culture among the principals with the highest Qualtrics survey school culture scores among staff, parents, and students? While the intention was to identify and interview a total of 10 principals, five from Title I and five from NonTitle schools, three of the principals did not respond to the survey request. Therefore, the researcher only Figure 3 Coding Organizational Hierarchy for RQ3 interviewed seven elementary principals representing five Title campuses and two Non-Title campuses. The researcher wanted to separate the rankings of Title I and Non-Title schools to ensure equity and fairness in the ranking of campuses. All interview questions are related to the domains of school culture. Figure 3 displays the theme and subthemes for the school culture domains. Institutional environment, which encompasses the environment, structure, and availability of resources within a school environment, was the least referenced of the culture domains evaluated in the qualitative portion of the current study. Eleven out of 330 references from all seven respondents were coded into this theme, which comprised only 3% of all coded references. Based on participant responses, the researcher discovered an overarching theme of facility maintenance as participants Matthew C. Rainey, Ed.D.
