Other previous positions held include assistant principal, administrative associate, instructional coach, and reading interventionist across Little Elm ISD, Denton ISD, Katy ISD, Round Rock ISD, and San Antonio ISD. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in English and Linguistics from the University of Texas at Austin, a Master of Arts in Teaching English as a Second Language from the University of Texas at San Antonio, a Master of Education in Educational Leadership from Dallas Baptist University, and a Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership K–12 from Dallas Baptist University.
