BUSH COLLEGE OF EDUCATION certifies in 12 different teaching areas spanning Early Childhood through 12th grade. We also have a five-year program preparing teacher candidates to leave DBU with both a bachelor’s and a master’s degree. Our traditional teacher candidates are maintaining a 100% pass rate on the two state tests required for teacher certification. Our candidates are eagerly sought after by many districts in the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex. For the last several years, 100% of our traditional candidates who sought jobs for the coming semester received jobs. The College of Education is accredited by the Texas Education Agency, the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges, and the Council for the Accreditation of Educator Preparation.
