WRIGHT CAMPUS ACCOMPLISHMENTS: Reached an historic high in international enrollment in Fall 2018, with 673 students representing 67 countries. Expanded the Institute for Global Engagement and launched the William B. Dean, M.D. Institute for Criminal Justice Leadership, Center for Baptist History and Heritage, and K. Randel Everett Center for Global Religious Freedom. Funded initiatives reflecting a commitment to academic excellence, Kingdom influence, and a global reach.. Market Value of endowment funds increased from $37.5 million in May 2016 to $96.3 million in February 2026, representing growth of more than 156%. Sustained financial stability throughout Dr. Wright's presidency, even amid unprecedented challenges such as COVID-19, technological shifts, and the demographic cliff. Initiated The Global Community, DBU’s outreach ministry, which partners with K–12 schools, universities, churches, ministries, and Christ-centered businesses worldwide, serving 250 K–12 partners (4,186 campuses), 20 university partners (31 campuses), and 53 Vision Partners across 10 countries.
