1 “ “ DEAR FRIENDS, It is my honor to present this edition of The DBU Report, which reflects the Lord’s unwavering faithfulness to Dallas Baptist University and the numerous ways He is working throughout the campus community. Within these pages, you will find stories of students showcasing their talents through Spring Sing, a cherished staff member celebrating 50 years of dedicated service, progress on the Carter School of Business capital campaign, and Patriot student-athletes excelling in competition while growing in their faith. While there is much to celebrate, we particularly want to express our deepest gratitude for Dr. Adam C. Wright and his steadfast leadership as he marks 10 years as President of Dallas Baptist University. Over the past decade, it has been an absolute joy to witness Dr. Wright’s servanthearted leadership on University Hill. I vividly recall meeting him 27 years ago and immediately recognizing his exceptional qualities. Having known him for nearly three decades, I have seen him consistently demonstrate everything I first recognized in him, and even more. What truly sets Dr. Wright apart is his unwavering commitment to keeping Jesus at the center of every aspect of his life—his family, his leadership, and the mission of Dallas Baptist University. Under his guidance, DBU has flourished as a place where students are not only academically equipped but also spiritually formed and prepared to lead with conviction and compassion. This special edition of The DBU Report provides an opportunity to reflect on ten years of extraordinary leadership and to give thanks to the Lord for His abundant faithfulness to Dallas Baptist University.
